Therapy for Children and Adolescents
Voice Therapy
Changes to the sound of a child's voice can cause frustration or distress. They may find it more effortful to talk, and may avoid talking at times. Therapy is more likely to be successful if the child has some awareness of any voice changes/difficulties and wants to change, however sometimes therapy can be successful through more passive exercises. We are happy to work with your child's classroom, singing or speech and drama teachers to ensure optimal carryover and longevity of the therapy. |
